I'm having the possibility to buy 1,1 or 2,2 yellow blue bonnet.

I want to know:

What is a realistic price for a pair?
Furthermore I want to know, if there a difficulties with this race?

I am a German breeder and I can't write Dutch. So please excuse that I write in English.

You mean Yellow-vented Blue Bonnets? Behaviour wise they are the same as Red-vented Blue Bonnets. And looking at the rarity (although more an more birds are coming available due to good breeding results) it depends what you want to pay for them.

If you search the parrots section of the advertisement for "yellow" you may find at least eight breeders offering yellow-vented blue bonnets. Note that there's even a German breeder among them. Contacting these advertisers will probably result in a fair avarage purchase price.

Daniel, you are right, the name is yellow vented blue bonnet.

I don't want to write a mail to all the breeders who offer their birds in die vogelarena (beacause I don't buy them...).

Maybe somebody just bought a pair...?
